A 100-year-old warehouse town Kitahama Arie with a direct view of the Seto Inland Sea from Takamatsu Station and a straight line walking along the sea from Takamatsu Port. Commercial complex full of restaurants, cafes, miscellaneous goods and art.

Kitahama Alley Story  Since 2001.

Blew in the wind containing the smell of a port city-specific moth and machine oil, and while walking through the warehouse area of Kitahama several times

It was like I met the original landscape before the waterfront in the world succeeded as a commerce industry.

The Fisherman's Wharf in Los Angeles, Pier 17 in New York, and the Faneuil Hall Market Press in Boston.

Originally there was only recognition as an unpopular place left behind from the bustle of the city.

This Kitahama warehouse area can also be regenerated as an important business and industry group that talks about the city's history. It was the beginning of Kitahama Arie that I felt that way.
